And as I write this the evening before, I'm busy preparing food to offer to the presenters, Stephen Jardine and Lulu. I figured people already think about salads as raw so I'm presenting a raw soup that you could serve cold or warmed, a dip for sitting around and relaxing, a new take on the cucumber sandwich, a raw version of a popular take-away and something sweet and pretty enough for a party. I'll be sharing the recipes in a gift ebook after the show.
I've been thinking about the benefits of raw food and I asked some friends who eat mainly raw food what benefits they notice, and here are some:
'My skin is better'
"I've lost weight'
'My hair looks better'
'I hardly ever get ill'
'If I catch a cold it's gone in a day or two.'
"It tastes so good'
'It's cheaper'
and those, in a nutshell so to speak, are some of the benefits of raw food. I hope some of you are watching the show or visiting www.stv.tv in the days after.
