Just letting you know I'm away until mid November in Uganda and Kenya. It's the first time I've set foot in sub-Saharan Africa since I left South Africa aged 4. I'll be there with my daughter. We're going to a big African Wedding, running some workshops and doing some exploring. I'll take my camera but not my laptop, so I'll post here again on my return. I'm still busy thinking about how this blog, my site and other blog/site ideas fit with how my business is developing. Perhaps being in such a different place will bring helpful new perspectives.
Meanwhile there's an American election and big financial changes in the world. Good news? Bad news? Who can say? We certainly each have to find our way forward sensibly and at the same time being cheerful. Why cheerful - because it's a choice we can make whatever is going on in life isn't it? Not convinced? Read my chapter 'How Good Can You Stand It?' 'in Good Question!'
It's going to be quite something being with people in Africa who get through life with far less material resources than we do at the most pinched of times. I'm sure they will be teaching me a thing or two.
My blogging self will be back toards the end of November.
:-) Judy
ps, if you wish to get in touch, please email me on [email protected] and I'll ick them up when I can.
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Thank you Kate! That's a good incentive to write another post then - plus I have a gazillion photos to post, and a couple of Chilly Edinburgh shots since I returned home. Watch this space! ;-) Judy
