Just birds flying off in the rain. If it had been a few seagulls I doubt I'd have been grabbing the camera but it was wonderful to see these white birds walking around looking for something to sup up from swampy puddles with their long red bills. Exotic, different and I I notice them because of that. It's wonderful having a few moments now and then in this beautiful place to take note of the small things, like this.
Most of my intellectual energy is tied up with studying here, so I'm not blogging that much. But some people are telling me how much they are appreciating the photos so I'll add another. (spot the lizard)
I think my business activities are in a bit of a crysalis at the moment, neither caterpillar nor butterfly, busy on the inside and not much showing on the outside. That's an important phase, and I'm looking forward to telling you more when I'm ready to 'emerge'. Do you ever let yourself do that? In these times of so much change I think it's important to go through that sometimes.
I'm hoping some of you will come to the workshop I'm running in June with Eric Maddoc - bring your camera if you join us as it's a magical setting. Like where I'm staying in Florida it's a lovely place just to be. Scroll down to an earlier posting for the details.
Hope to meet you there.
